Treasure Hunt - A Thrilling Adventure

I wish I could tell you that it ends well.

I was treading softly on the forest grass. My mission was to find the Cave of Wonders. My senses were heightened, adrenaline coursed through my veins and fear gripped my heart.

After thirty minutes, I approached a massive boulder, blocking the entrance of the cave. As I whispered “OUVRIR GRANDE” the boulder rolled sideways, and my eyes fell upon the contents inside. Precious jewels, ancient artefacts and mounds of gold filled the entire room. I started filling my bag as quickly as I could.

My bag was almost full when I heard a low, menacing growl. My hair stood up on its roots. The guardian of the cave had awakened, and I needed to get away. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me. The heavy footfalls sounded close behind.

My heart was pounding against my chest. Just as hope resurfaced, I tripped over a rock. The guardian closed in on me. I knew my end was near.

The screen blacked out. “Try Again?”, it asked. I huffed in exasperation. I never played that stupid game again.
